2023-2024 Spring Development

Program Description: Join us for Development Skills and Games, a comprehensive program designed to enhance your volleyball skills and provide valuable gameplay experience.

Tentative Schedule:

• Duration: May 1st, 2024, to June 19th, 2024
• Day: Wednesdays
• Time: 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM (Please note exceptions on holidays)
• Number of Sections: Approximately 8 sections

This program is tailored to help participants develop their volleyball skills while also engaging in gameplay scenarios. Don't miss this opportunity to improve your game and have fun on the court. Register early to secure your spot!

Development - Ages 8-18, Coed Participants

Participants will be divided into beginner and intermediate levels, catering to various skill ranges. No prior experience is required; all skill levels are welcome. No tryouts are necessary. Opportunity for players to advance to a regular team with an adjusted fee structure. For detailed scheduling, please refer to the links provided in the DEV Calendar section.

Practices will be held once a week, lasting one hour each. (Approximately 8 sessions in total)

Preliminary Schedule: Wednesdays, 6:00-7:00 PM (To Be Determined). Please consult the DEV Calendar for updates.

The focus will be on developing volleyball footwork and fundamental skills. The program will not involve tournaments; instead, scrimmage games will be organized.

Practice Locations: North Raleigh Christian Academy: 7300 Perry Creek Rd, Raleigh, NC 27616

While uncommon, there might be instances where we need to adjust or cancel sessions due to conflicts or weather conditions. Please stay updated on social media or sports engine calendars for any last-minute changes.

All fees are non-refundable. Optional insurance can be purchased through Sportsengine.

The decision to have closed practices is driven by the desire to cultivate a focused environment with minimal distractions, ensuring the safety of our players, as well as for insurance-related reasons.

Introducing the Plus League:

For female volleyball players aged 13-18, prior experience is required.

*During the initial two weeks, we will conduct player evaluations for team placement.

Tentative Schedule:

• Duration: May 1st, 2024, to June 19th, 2024
• Wednesdays, 7:00-8:50 PM @NRCA or @ECS 

1. Practice and games will be on the same night with a 1 hour practice followed by games for 50-minute1 hour. (Approximately 8 weeks in total)
