Our parent representatives are dedicated volunteers who play a crucial role within the team structure. Each team will be assigned a parent representative who acts as a bridge between the coach and the parents.

Responsibilities:
- Obtain a USAV membership as a chaperone.
- Serve as a communication link between the coach and parents.
- Regularly interact with the coach to relay practice schedules, tournament changes, and other relevant information to the team.
- Compile a comprehensive team roster with player and parent names, contact details, school affiliations, and pertinent data.
- Coordinate snacks and food arrangements.
- Assist in organizing travel logistics for overnight tournaments.
- Collaborate with the coach to distribute tournament-related details among the team.
- Arrange hotel accommodations in tandem with other parent representatives traveling to the same tournaments.
- Occasionally, the parent rep might delegate another parent to assist with hotel bookings.
- If volunteers are required for locally hosted tournaments, the parent rep will help rally parents from their team for assistance.
- It's important to note that the parent rep is not an assistant coach and has no involvement in coaching decisions such as line-ups and playing time.
- Lastly, remember to add the team calendar to your Google account for easy reference.
