What Sand Volleyball Gear Do I Need?

Suggest:

  1. Sunscreen
  2. Polarized Sunglasses
  3. Snacks
  4.  Water
  5. Beach Towel
  6. Stretch Band / Rubber Band
  7. Lightweight Hoody, Hat, and/or Visor
  8.  Extra T-shirts, shorts , Bikini/Boardies
  9. Lawn chair, tent, beach umbrella
  10. Protective footwear

Severe weather only:

* Weather:
We are closely monitoring the weather in case of severe weather.

  • You will get an update on Beach Volleyball 1-2 Hours before practices by Sports Engine app and email.
  • Check the RVC Beach calendar for any changes.

AVP 18 and under

Beach Gears

Requirement: Each participant must have one Raleigh Volleyball t-shirt, Beach Jersey, shirt, or tank top.

RVC Beach Volleyball — Spring 2026

Limited to: 40 players
Season Dates: Mid-April – Mid-June
Practice Schedule: Thursdays, 5:00–6:30 PM (≈10 sessions)

Cost Per Player
Early-Bird: $325 (register by March 1)
Regular: $375 (after March 1)
Includes 3 tournaments in the fee.

Schedule & Practices
Runs mid-April to mid-June
1–2 practices per week (8–10 total)
Flexible times to fit your schedule

Tournaments
3 tournaments included in the fee
RVC coach will be at each tournament

Important Details
• Players must wear a Raleigh Volleyball t-shirt
• Beach volleyball is played in doubles
• All payments are non-refundable
• Optional insurance available at checkout through SportsEngine

Tryout

  • No tryouts required.

  • Open to current club players and those with prior volleyball experience.

  • Find a partner to team up with!

The Coaches will attend 3 tournaments.

USAV Beach membership

If you already Have USAV membership, just need to apply for Beach, no extra fee. If not it's $22

AVP membership

Gold or Silver to play in some of AVP tourneys

USAV- Sportsengine

USAV MEMBERSHIP is REQUIRED: Participation in Carolina Region/USAV-sanctioned events necessitates all participants to be USA Volleyball members (for insurance reasons). Non-USAV members will need to join for $22 before we can register you for a tournament.
